We’re delighted to introduce you to DREAM WEEK, a 3-night 4-day introductory camp experience specifically designed to help your child bridge the gap between home and the overnight summer camp experience.
While Dream week will expose children to a broad spectrum of Indian Head camp's summer activities, our mission centers around making youngsters feel comfortable about their first independent group living experience.
Dream week takes place during our regular camping season.
Dream Week campers live in the beautifully equipped cabins of our oldest campers who will be on an extended out-of-camp trip.
Though the program is under our direction, specially trained, full time Indian Head counselors live, eat and participate with our Dream Weekers in all aspects of camp life and activities.
The unique, well-rounded Dream Week Program centers around every child gaining a sense of independence and confidence by learning to give and take in a structured, exciting, yet relaxed setting.
Whether on the baseball field, canoeing on the lake, or toasting marshmallows around a campfire, children in Dream Week learn by doing and feel a great sense of accomplishment as they become comfortable in – and begin to conquer – a new environment.
