Whether it's on canvas, wood, clay, or stage—there is no shortage of opportunities to let your creative flag fly!

The creative and performing arts programs offer an important change of pace from the physical activities that make up so much of a camper’s day at IHC. As with all of our activities, the emphasis is on participation and exploration—and walking back to the bunk with your latest creation!

Our brand new, state of the art facility offers campers experiences and training in arts and crafts, classical art and painting, ceramics, woodworking, and even media—where they learn about photography and filmmaking. Campers are encouraged to let their wildest imaginations become reality, and are aided by our wonderfully talented and classically trained staff.

Outside the art house, campers get to participate in one of the most popular activities on camp, cooking (or really, it's the eating part they prefer). IHC's culinary facilities give campers the chance to make a variety of snacks and meals from scratch, and learn about safety, organization, and creativity in the kitchen.

Campers with a flair for performance participate in technical workshops and frequent stage productions at the Ezersky Playhouse. The Playhouse is professionally equipped with a full-size stage, dressing room, and modern lighting and sound equipment. In addition, experienced instructors offer guidance on singing, dancing, and acting.

Sending your child away to summer camp can be a difficult and overwhelming decision. Our families have found that talking together helps a lot. Send us some quick info and our expert team of directors will reach out to answer all your questions. Is camp right for your family? We'll find out together.
